On September 1, Nubia's NaviX Ultra officially picked up its network access license from China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). That completes the full compliance process — from getting a large language model filed to clearing the terminal for network access — and it makes the NaviX Ultra the world's first AI agent phone to move from proof of concept to commercial scale.
According to reports, the phone will ship with Doubao as its built-in phone assistant, and it's positioned as a mass-production flagship. Sales are planned to kick off in September.
