ByteDance showed off its next-generation video model, Seedance 2.5, at the company's Volcano Engine FORCE conference on June 23, with an official release expected in early July. The biggest upgrade: a single native video clip can now run 30 seconds straight — twice the previous length.
The model also accepts up to 50 reference materials across all modalities at once, which ByteDance says addresses the common problem of characters and product details getting deformed during generation. And a new local-editing feature lets you adjust one part of the frame without affecting the rest of the video.
