A conversational one-tap ride-hailing service is now in gray-scale testing on the Doubao app, with Cao Cao Mobility supplying the actual fleet. Users in Beijing and Hangzhou who have been granted access to the test can skip manually entering pickup and drop-off addresses or filtering car types. Instead, they simply speak their number of passengers, preferences, and destination into the chat interface, and the system automatically matches a Cao Cao vehicle and price. A single tap confirms the order and dispatches the ride.
The driver side has also been integrated. Multiple Cao Cao Mobility drivers have confirmed that the platform has begun pushing a dedicated "Doubao Service Order" tag and is offering an additional 2 yuan surprise service fee per trip for drivers who complete these rides. The feature stems from an AI mobility strategic partnership the two companies signed back in June.
