If you’re a computer science PhD who dreams of working on Tencent’s giant AI models, here’s some good news: the company’s 2027 Qingyun campus recruitment program is offering full-time pay to some interns. The program targets top technical talent graduating between January 2026 and December 2027, from bachelor’s to doctoral level, anywhere in the world.
Open positions span Shenzhen, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Hangzhou, and Hong Kong — plus the US, Singapore, the UK, and the Netherlands. Selected candidates get dedicated mentors, access to core projects, and learning funds. And for a subset of interns, the paycheck will match that of a full-time employee from day one.
Tencent says its Hunyuan model, WorkBuddy, and WeChat AI assistant Xiaowei are all ramping up fast. Qingyun talent will get plugged into model and product development earlier than usual.
