Hone's enterprise agents stick with one goal for months, not minutes

August 14, 2026 | Source: t | AI, Developer | 243 views 0 comments

Hone has officially debuted, with a team made up of alums from Cognition, Mercor, Ramp, and OpenAI. The pitch: a long-running enterprise agent system.

You give it a business goal — like "cut new-user churn to 8 percent" — and Hone handles the rest: breaking the work into tasks, coordinating agents, modifying software, and continuously adapting based on company data.

Unlike a typical agent that runs once and stops, Hone stays on the same objective for weeks or even months. The company describes it as "more like Kubernetes than a chatbot."

For now, though, this is mostly a technology-roadmap announcement. Hone hasn't released a full product, pricing, or verifiable long-running deployments, so the real-world results are still unproven.
