ByteDance's Doubao input method has officially launched a macOS version. Previously, the app was only available on iOS and Android. The official page indicates that a Windows version is still in development.
The desktop version integrates the same voice model as the Doubao app, supporting accurate dialect recognition, soft-voice input, and mixed Chinese-English transcription. During transcription, it can automatically filter out redundant spoken words. For regular keyboard input, the product offers long-text error correction and contextual predictive suggestions.
