Tencent WorkBuddy has rolled out a "human-machine co-writing" feature. Users can directly open Word, Excel, PPT, and Markdown files, highlight a paragraph, a range of cells, or a slide, and let the AI modify it in place.
AI only processes the selected area, leaving the rest of the content and formatting mostly untouched. You can review changes, continue manual editing, or revert them.
Word supports continuation, polishing, and formatting. Excel can analyze data and generate charts. PPT can split slides, adjust layout, and produce speaker notes.
Then again, OpenAI's Codex has been doing this for a while.
