Polymarket buys open-source AI agent workspace to automate prediction trading

Polymarket has acquired Craft Agents, an open-source AI agent workspace. Founder Bálint Orosz and some members of his team will join Polymarket to lead product and design engineering.

Craft Agents is an open-source, documented AI agent workspace licensed under Apache 2.0. It supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP), works across tools like GitHub and Slack, and includes a built-in Chromium browser for autonomous web browsing.

As part of the deal, the Craft notes app bought out all external investors, returning to full independence and employee ownership. Co-founder Viktor Páli will take over as CEO of Craft and continue maintaining its note-taking product.

Polymarket is doubling down on AI-driven trading infrastructure. The company acquired Dome, a unified API provider for prediction markets, in February 2026, and Brahma, a DeFi smart account automation platform, in March. Combined with its open-source Polymarket/agents framework, Polymarket is assembling a full stack for automated trading — from API access to execution to client-facing agents.
