Nous Research is starting public beta testing of Bot Mode for Hermes Agent — its latest attempt to turn multi-agent orchestration into something ordinary people can actually use. Right now it’s shipping as a standalone plugin, with plans to fold the whole thing into Hermes Desktop once feedback rolls in. Hermes already supported multiple independent profiles, and you could use a Kanban board to divvy up tasks between agents. Bot Mode doesn’t rebuild the underlying machinery; instead, it repackages those existing capabilities into a more intuitive product surface.
