OpenRouter, the AI model routing platform, has released yet another anonymous model — this time called Owl Alpha. The provider is listed as "Stealth," with no developer attribution. Owl Alpha is positioned for agent workloads, with native tool-calling support, a context window of roughly 1.05 million tokens, and a maximum output of 262K tokens. It's quantized to int8 and compatible with popular tools like Claude Code and OpenClaw. The model is free to use, but all prompts and outputs will be recorded by the provider to improve the model. OpenRouter has previously released at least three other anonymous models, all of which turned out to be from Chinese companies.
