ByteDance is shaking up its enterprise business with a sweeping reorganization. Feishu's product team will merge with Doubao's product team to form a new unified Doubao product group. Feishu leader Xie Xin will now report to Doubao chief Zhao Qi.
Meanwhile, Feishu's sales, marketing, and customer service teams are being folded into Volcano Engine. The two entities will jointly create a new ToB commercialization unit called the "Creativity Service Platform," which will oversee ByteDance's MaaS (Model as a Service), SaaS, and other enterprise offerings. The new unit will be led by Volcano Engine head Tan Dai.
After the restructuring, Feishu's existing products and services will remain unchanged. The enterprise version of Doubao, co-developed with the Feishu team, is already being tested with select Feishu customers. It can tap into Feishu's documents, group chats, meetings, and enterprise knowledge to carry out complex tasks.
This is the biggest ToB overhaul since ByteDance organized into business divisions in 2021. Going forward, Doubao will handle enterprise AI products, Feishu will serve as the office entry point and data repository, and Volcano Engine will own sales and delivery.
