Vercel has a new tool called Is Agentic that checks whether your website is actually usable by AI agents. Punch in a URL, and it runs through more than 100 checks to see if an agent can discover, read, understand, and actually operate your site, then hands back a score from 0 to 100. The underlying scan comes from Ora, an AI agent website evaluation platform, and Vercel applies its own weighting and presentation rules on top.
It's not just looking for files like robots.txt or llms.txt. Server-side rendering, HTTP responses, page structure, and actionable buttons all get tested. If the site exposes an API, OAuth, GraphQL, or MCP, the tool goes further and checks whether those interfaces actually work for an agent.
After the scan, you can see the exact path an agent took through your site — and where it got stuck. Every issue comes with evidence and suggested fixes, plus a generated prompt you can hand directly to a coding agent to make changes. The finished report can also be pulled via JSON API, Markdown, or MCP.
So how are websites doing? Ora has scanned more than 14,000 sites, and the average score is 34. Seventy-seven percent of them land in D or F territory. In other words, the web is mostly not ready for agents yet.
