OpenAI's coding agent Codex and its office assistant ChatGPT Work have together reached 10 million weekly active users — just nine days after crossing 6 million. The company responded by resetting usage quotas for paid users of both products.
Back in March, Codex alone had only 2 million weekly active users. Now the combined figure has grown fivefold.
OpenAI had previously promised to reset quotas every time the user base grew by another million, from 3 million to 10 million. This reset marks the final milestone in that commitment.
