Google Antigravity 2.2.1 kills OAuth popups and agent deadlocks

Google Antigravity's latest update, version 2.2.1, finally does something sensible with your OAuth tokens: instead of hitting you with repeated authorization popups, it automatically writes refreshed credentials to your operating system's secure keyring (Apple Keychain or Windows Credential Manager). That means less friction for developers who were constantly re-authenticating. The update also tackles a couple of other pain points: workspace search now uses substring matching instead of prefix matching, which fixes those annoying 'path not found' errors, and it resolves a deadlock issue that could freeze sub-agents during execution.

Multimedia and environment compatibility get some love too. The sidebar and deliverables window now natively play .mp3 and .wav files, and Markdown rendering gains syntax highlighting for C++, Python, and Protobuf. Windows users should see fewer UAC prompts and PATH-related access errors. There's also a built-in Antigravity Guide skill to answer platform questions.

But as with many updates, not everything is smooth sailing. Some developers report being stuck on version 2.1.4 with no update available due to a glitchy upgrade channel. Others are annoyed that the client window launches at a fixed 1400x900 pixels every time. And the removal of the Ctrl+I inline command editor — a feature many relied on — has drawn complaints.
