Google has updated Antigravity’s terms of service to clear up one important question: using third-party tools like OpenClaw through Antigravity OAuth is still a violation, but the suspension or termination applies to your Antigravity and/or Gemini CLI account — not your entire Google account.
Previously, the terms just said “your account,” leaving room for a much scarier interpretation. That interpretation caught on after Theo Browne, founder of T3 Code, and Gergely Orosz, author of The Pragmatic Engineer, both warned that plugging a Gemini subscription into third-party tools could get your whole Google account banned. Varun Mohan, who runs Antigravity, responded that the reading was wrong and the terms were unclear — and promised to fix them. The new wording draws the boundary.
The core restrictions haven’t loosened, though. Google’s FAQ still bans Claude Code, OpenClaw, OpenCode, and similar third-party tools from using Antigravity login. If you want to call Gemini from a third-party coding agent, the official advice is to use a Vertex AI or AI Studio API key.
Google already mass-banned accounts for this in February, then reset the initial round of bans and added an appeal process.
