Cursor's new Customize page brings order to plugins, skills, and MCP

June 24, 2026 | Source: x | AI, Developer | 288 views 0 comments

Cursor is rolling out a new Customize page that finally gives you a single place to manage plugins, skills, MCP, sub-agents, rules, commands, and hooks across user, team, and workspace levels. Beyond letting you bring in custom MCPs, the page also features a Marketplace leaderboard that highlights the most popular tools among teams and the community — click once to add them to your personal config.

Plugins now support pre-built canvases that teams can share and reuse as configuration templates. The first to launch include Hex for data visualization and Atlassian, which surfaces tasks, projects, and docs in real time.

Additionally, Team Marketplaces — already supporting local codebases — now let you import plugin repositories from GitLab, Bitbucket, and Azure DevOps, making it easier to distribute plugins across your organization.
