Design Arena has released the results of its frontend design leaderboard. GPT-5.6 Sol takes the top spot with an Elo rating of 1353, edging out GLM 5.2 at 1351. Claude Fable 5 comes in third with 1345.

This win is on the "non-agent" track: models cannot use search, terminal, or file editing tools, and they get only one chance. After reading the prompt, they must generate a complete single-file HTML page in one go. Real users then compare the results in head-to-head matches.
GPT-5.6 Sol is 60 Elo points ahead of GPT-5.5, leaping 18 positions up the rankings. Design Arena also notes that it is the fastest among models with comparable performance.
