Google Antigravity has released version 2.2.1, bringing a handful of quality-of-life improvements for developers. The biggest change? Automatic OAuth credential storage into the OS-level keychain — think Apple Keychain or Windows Credential Manager — so you don’t have to keep approving pop-ups. Workspace search now uses substring matching instead of prefix-only, fixing those annoying "path not found" errors. And the team claims to have squashed a deadlock bug in sub-agents that could freeze everything.

Media and environment compatibility also gets a boost. You can now play .mp3 and .wav files directly in the sidebar and deliverables window, and Markdown rendering now supports syntax highlighting for C++, Python, and Protobuf. Windows users will be happy to hear that the update stops the repeated UAC permission prompts and fixes errors with the PATH environment variable. There’s also a new built-in Antigravity Guide skill for answering platform questions.
But it’s not all smooth sailing. Some developers are reporting that the update channel is broken, leaving them stuck on version 2.1.4 with no update available. On top of that, the client now forces a fixed 1400x900 window size on every launch — annoying if you prefer a different resolution. And in a move that’s drawing particular ire, the new version removes the Ctrl+I keyboard shortcut for inline command editing.
