A leaker named Leo says Google could ship Gemini 3.7 Flash as soon as today — and the API pricing might get a lot friendlier. The cost could drop to $0.75 per million input tokens and $3.75 per million output tokens. Compare that to Gemini 3.6 Flash's standard rates of $1.50 and $7.50, and you're looking at a roughly 50% price cut.
This isn't just a random rumor. Google's official Python GenAI SDK briefly added a gemini-3.7-flash model ID before it was pulled. And the naming suggests Google has skipped straight past a 3.5 Pro tier entirely.
