OpenAI is updating ChatGPT's temporary chat mode. You can now let a temporary conversation tap into your existing memory, custom instructions, and plugins — or just save the chat to your history when it turns out to be useful.
Temporary chats still won't create new memories or show up in your conversation list by default. They only become a normal chat if you explicitly save them.
