Alternative data platform TickerTrends estimates that Anthropic's current annualized revenue has reached $74.1 billion, while OpenAI's stands at $41.3 billion. That gives Anthropic a lead of $32.8 billion, roughly 1.79 times OpenAI's figure.
OpenAI has also been accelerating recently. Its estimate rose from $33 billion in May to $41.3 billion in July, a gain of about 25% in two months.
However, these are not official revenue figures disclosed by either company. TickerTrends bases its estimates on alternative data modeling, primarily using purchase intent signals and other metrics.
