Your terminal is about to become a lot more visual. Anthropic is bringing Artifacts to Claude Code, its CLI and desktop app, giving developers the ability to turn long-running terminal sessions into live, interactive web pages.

The feature, now in beta for Claude Team and Enterprise users, extends Artifacts’ real-time interactivity from the browser to the local terminal. With a single command, developers can capture the entire context of a session — including local codebase, connected monitoring tools (Connectors), and conversation history — and generate things like PR walkthroughs, system dependency graphs, dynamic dashboards, or auto-filling release checklists.
Claude Code automatically wires together test failures, related functions, error spikes, and root cause analysis without any configuration. The generated pages refresh in place, so teammates can share a link and see the latest progress live. Version history is preserved.
On the security side, all Artifacts are private by default, require organizational authentication, and cannot be shared externally. Enterprise admins can set retention policies and audit usage.
