Just after selling most of his roughly $16 billion public stock portfolio to Citadel, 24-year-old former OpenAI researcher Leopold Aschenbrenner is set to hold a multi-day wedding in Carmel, a seaside town in California. The ceremony will take place at a Tuscan-style villa, with the final day seeing guests off at a forest spa hotel.
Before the wedding, there's also a seminar on the agenda. Guests will take part in roundtable discussions and breakout sessions. The couple's only request: no gifts.
His fiancée, Avital Balwit, currently works at Anthropic, whose CEO is Dario Amodei.
