Zhipu AI (智谱) just announced it will stop auto-renewals for the old "no weekly limit" tier of its GLM Coding Plan, effective April 30, 2026 at 10:00 AM Beijing time. Affected users will get two months of the equivalent new plan for free.
The company says the old unlimited-weekly-quota model can't keep up with growing usage. The change only hits users currently subscribed to that legacy plan with auto-renewal turned on. Your current billing cycle's price and features stay the same, and the two-month credit will be applied automatically on April 30. After the grace period ends, you'll need to sign up for whatever new plan is available if you want to keep using the service.
