xAI has officially launched Grok Imagine Video 1.5, an image and text-to-video model now available via API (grok-imagine-video-1.5), web (grok.com/imagine), and mobile clients

The model generates synchronized audio and video in a single inference pass, producing sound effects, ambient noise, and dialogue while improving clarity and lip-sync. It also improves physics and motion consistency, making object movement and weight feel more believable over longer shots and reducing warping artifacts. The lightweight Video 1.5 Fast version cuts generation time to about 25 seconds for a 6-second 720p clip.
The web interface gets updated workflows too: new project management (Projects) for organizing assets, multiple agents (Multiple Agents) for running several prompts simultaneously, and semantic search (Search) across the media library. Digital artist David Thompson's team used Grok Imagine 1.5 to create a fully AI-generated sci-fi trailer titled "Odyssey."
