SpaceX's acquisition of Cursor is officially complete. Cursor announced it's now part of SpaceX, and the team will join SpaceXAI, where it'll keep developing Cursor while also working on Grok, Grok Build, Grok Bot, and Grok API.
The deal was finalized in June, with SpaceX buying Cursor's parent company Anysphere in an all-stock transaction valued at roughly $60 billion. The two companies previously worked together to train Grok 4.5 and later jointly launched Grok.
