OpenAI has closed the largest financing round in Silicon Valley history, raising $122 billion at a post-money valuation of $852 billion.
The round adds $12 billion on top of the $110 billion in strategic investor commitments announced in February, with $3 billion of that coming from individual investors for the first time.
