Musk promises to open source all of X's code

Elon Musk says that once X completes a security vulnerability audit, the platform will open source its entire codebase — no exceptions.

X will also invite third-party inspectors to examine the live system and verify that the code actually running matches the open-sourced version.

Until now, X had only made its recommendation algorithm public. This new commitment expands to the whole code repository, though Musk hasn't set a deadline.
