Grok Imagine's advanced Agent Mode is now live on iOS, bringing multi-step image generation workflows to the mobile app.

Traditional AI image generation relies on a single prompt. Agent Mode changes that by introducing a multi-step creative workflow. With autonomous planning and iteration, users can generate, edit, and refine image assets sequentially on the canvas.
According to user feedback and the public interface, the iOS version focuses on four key upgrades. First is cross-generation character consistency — keeping faces and body types accurate across multiple generations. Second, it supports extending the same character into different scenes. Third, it offers multi-shot angles and environmental controls, allowing users to specify close-ups or wide shots and adjust lighting. Finally, it delivers cinematic visual storytelling, with tones and textures that match storyboard levels.
Now, users can toggle Agent Mode directly from the input box in the Grok iOS app. The feature interface includes dedicated sections for history stories, virtual try-ons, and character concepts. Currently, multi-step image generation is available only to Grok and X Premium (formerly Twitter Blue) subscribers.
