Genspark just shipped GenOffice Alpha, a local office suite for Mac and Windows. It handles documents, spreadsheets, slides, and PDFs, with AI writing, data analysis, and presentation generation built right into the editor.
The software is free, ad-free, and fully open source. You can log into Genspark and pay for AI features with credits, or bring your own OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, or compatible API key.
Genspark says the Alpha was built by one engineer in a single week, costing about $10,000 in AI tokens.
