Reactor, a world model company founded by former Apple Vision Pro development leads, has officially exited stealth and secured $59 million in seed and Series A funding. The round was led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, with participation from Amplify Partners, WndrCo, Sky9 Capital, and FPV Ventures. The company says it will use the capital to accelerate R&D and global deployment of its world model infrastructure, which allows developers to stream cutting-edge world models into applications in as few as 10 lines of code.

Mainstream AI video generation tends to prioritize speed of generation, but Reactor is focusing on interaction speed and ultra-low latency — aiming to keep frame latency under 50 milliseconds. By providing unified developer interfaces and toolkits, developers can build real-time interactive AI applications without worrying about complex server-side architecture. Visual pixels, audio, and physics actions are generated on demand in the blink of an eye, with no pre-rendering required. That opens up new possibilities for real-time responsiveness in media, entertainment, embodied AI, and robotics.
Reactor's co-founders have impressive backgrounds: CEO Alberto Taiuti was a co-founder and former CTO of the well-known 3D and video generation tool Luma AI, while CTO Bryce Schmidtchen previously worked alongside Taiuti as a technical lead on Apple Vision Pro. Over the past six months, the team has attracted members from Apple, Meta, Google, Luma AI, Netflix, and Replicate.
