JD Cloud and Coolpad have teamed up to launch a customized version of the Coolpad Fengshang 50Lite AI JD Cloud Phone, priced starting at 799 RMB (about $110). It's powered by a UNISOC Tiger T616 chip and 4GB of RAM — a basic 4G budget phone. The real twist is the deep integration of cloud services.
Buyers get a full year of JD Cloud Phone membership and a season pass for cloud gaming. Apps can run directly in the cloud without installation, saving local storage and battery. Even when the phone is off or locked, cloud games and apps stay online 24/7.
Also includes a private cloud space with multi-account isolation. This "physical phone + virtual cloud phone" setup is designed for users who need game hosting, multiple alts, or lightweight app testing — it saves you the monthly fee of renting a separate cloud phone. But as an everyday phone, the hardware is nothing special compared to other budget models.
