Brett Adcock, the cofounder of humanoid robot maker Figure AI and electric aircraft company Archer Aviation, has a new project: Hark, a personal AI hardware startup that just raised $700 million at a $6 billion valuation. Adcock personally put $100 million into the company to get it off the ground.

The Series A was led by Parkway Venture Capital, with participation from NVIDIA, AMD Ventures, Intel Capital, Qualcomm Ventures, and Salesforce Ventures.
Hark is building a personal AI platform that vertically integrates its own foundation models, system software, and dedicated hardware to create a universal interface for human-computer interaction. Adcock believes existing AI models are too simplistic; next-generation agents need to be able to naturally hear, see, understand visuals, have long-term memory, and autonomously execute tasks in the physical world.
Hark plans to release its first multimodal models in summer 2026, with a companion personal AI hardware device to follow. The $700 million will go toward expanding GPU compute infrastructure, accelerating frontier model R&D, and developing next-gen agent hardware. The team currently has about 70 people, mostly working on an NVIDIA B200 GPU cluster, and plans to grow engineering to 200 in the near future.
