DeepSeek drops V4-Flash-0731 open weights, no API required

DeepSeek isn't locking its latest model capabilities inside the official API. The company just published the official V4-Flash-0731 weights on Hugging Face, still under the MIT license. Developers can deploy it themselves, fine-tune it, and use it commercially — no need to go through DeepSeek's API.

These are the freshly post-trained, production-ready weights. In several Agent benchmarks, V4-Flash-0731 beats V4-Pro-Preview, and now third parties can independently deploy and verify those results.
