Cursor, the AI coding tool that developers have been raving about, is now setting its sights on everyday office work. According to a report from The Information citing two sources familiar with the matter, the company is internally testing a new assistant called Sand. Unlike its coding-focused predecessor, Sand is designed for non-developers — it can reply to emails and texts, organize spreadsheets, and even handle some engineering tasks.
Sand is currently being tested among employees, though it's unclear if or when it will get a public release.
