China's National Anti-Fraud AI app is now live

China's new National Anti-Fraud AI app is officially live. Developed by the Shanghai Public Security Bureau under the guidance of the Ministry of Public Security's Criminal Investigation Bureau, the app lets you type in a suspicious situation you've encountered, then judges the scam risk, identifies the scam pattern, and hands over prevention advice plus related case examples. Officials say it uses large language models, multimodal models, and AI agent technology — but they haven't disclosed the underlying foundation model.

The app is actually an upgraded version of the '803 Anti-Fraud AI Agent,' which the Shanghai Anti-Fraud Center first opened up nationwide in late 2025. That earlier version offered intelligent Q&A, anti-fraud news, and a glossary of scam terms.
