Ant Group's Inclusion AI has unveiled Ling-3.0-flash-Fin, a finance-focused variant of its Ling-3.0-flash model built for real financial work. It keeps the same architecture — 124 billion total parameters with roughly 5.1 billion active — but adds extra training on financial data plus optimized tool-calling. The model can go off and research on its own, read annual reports, run investment analyses and valuations, and even work directly inside Excel financial models. The company says the model weights will be released as open source next week.
In an official demo, the model was pointed at Google's Q2 2026 financial table. The file contained seven worksheets and more than 5,000 formulas; the model could update actual data, tweak formulas, and refresh cross-sheet references and charts. In another task, it strung together 23 tool calls to hunt down Google's historical monthly token usage disclosures, verifying sources, dates, and reporting definitions along the way.
Ant also put the model through nine finance-related benchmark suites against GPT-5.6-Sol, Claude Opus 5, Gemini 3.7 Flash, and Kimi K3, among others. It didn't top every category, but it did beat some flagship models on certain Finance Agent tasks. On general capabilities, the company says its AA Intelligence Index score improved from 38 on the base model to 41.
The model is already available to use for free on OpenRouter and Vercel AI Gateway.
