Anthropic's Claude Code now turns your terminal into an interactive web canvas

Anthropic is bringing its Artifacts feature to Claude Code, the company's command-line and desktop coding assistant. The new preview, available in beta for Claude Team and Enterprise organizations, lets developers capture long-running terminal sessions — think debugging marathons or service refactoring — and instantly turn them into live, interactive web pages.

Until now, Artifacts were limited to the web version of Claude, providing real-time previews of code, visualizations, and other content. With Claude Code's Artifacts support, that interactivity lands in the local terminal, where developers spend most of their time. The feature taps into your local codebase and connected monitoring tools (Connectors) to make the conversion seamless.

For example, during a lengthy troubleshooting session, you could capture the entire terminal scroll and transform it into an interactive webpage that lets you inspect outputs, rerun commands, or share the session with your team. It's a powerful way to turn transient terminal output into a persistent, shareable artifact.
