Tencent's AI assistant Yuanbao just got a lot smarter. The company announced this week that Yuanbao now integrates with the ima public knowledge base, letting it pull from a massive trove of professional content when answering questions. That knowledge base covers over 20 industries — including finance, law, medicine, and education — and has already been used by more than 140 million people.
When users get an answer from Yuanbao, they'll see source citations displayed as cards from the ima library. Clicking through lets them read the original PDF or summary. They can also save any interesting material to their personal knowledge base for later follow-ups, creating a tidy loop of research and inquiry.
