Meta is launching a Mac desktop app for Meta AI, currently in testing. You can share whatever window you're using with the assistant, and it will answer questions, offer suggestions, or generate content based on what it sees on screen. It also supports system-wide voice dictation, so you can use it directly inside other Mac apps.
But it isn't a computer agent yet. Meta AI can understand the screen you share, but it can't click buttons, operate apps, or take control of your computer.
Meta is also adding more enterprise and creator features. Meta AI can connect to Instagram and Facebook professional accounts, Meta Ads, and Google Workspace to analyze account and advertising data, generate documents and presentations, and handle recurring tasks like weekly reports.
