Legal AI startup Harvey just closed a $200 million round at an $11 billion valuation, up from $8 billion as recently as December.
Sequoia co-led the round with Singapore's sovereign wealth fund GIC — its third consecutive time leading a Harvey round, a streak partner Pat Grady described as extremely rare in the firm's history. Cumulative funding across all rounds now tops $1 billion.
Harvey was founded in 2022 by Winston Weinberg, a former lawyer, and a former Google engineer. The company builds AI agents for legal work, and says more than 100,000 lawyers are already using its platform for tasks like due diligence.
