DeepSeek's V4 price hike splits China's cloud giants three ways
DeepSeek officially switched on its new V4 pricing today — and it's already splitting the market. Seven hours of every day now run at peak rates, while the other 17 cost half price.
On day one, the global response has forked. In China, the big cloud vendors have broken into three camps: some matched DeepSeek's increase immediately, some are waiting a few days, and some are still selling at lower prices. Overseas, plenty of platforms are still undercutting DeepSeek's own rates.
