DeepSeek V4 launches mid-July with peak pricing that doubles API costs

DeepSeek officially announced that the full release of DeepSeek V4 is scheduled for mid-July, and it's bringing a new peak pricing model. During peak hours — 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM Beijing time — API costs will be doubled. For the high-performance model deepseek-v4-pro, the standard per-million-token prices are 0.025 yuan for cache hits, 3.00 yuan for cache misses on input, and 6.00 yuan for output. During peak hours, those rates jump to 0.05 yuan, 6.00 yuan, and 12.00 yuan respectively.
