Decart, the real-time AI video generation company, has released Lucy 2.5, a model that lets you edit video while it's still playing. Give it a text prompt or a reference image, and it can swap a person's face, outfit, or background on the fly, add effects, or remove objects — no waiting for a render.
Lucy 2.5 outputs at 1080p and 30 frames per second, processing frames in real time instead of requiring an upfront render pass. Users can also tweak an object's position, color, size, and style. The update also improves visual stability: if someone turns around or briefly leaves the frame, their edited face and clothes stay consistent when they come back.
Decart is positioning it for live streaming, e-commerce try-ons, advertising, and gaming scenarios.
