OpenRouter's weekly token-usage leaderboard just became a showcase for Chinese AI. Eight of the top ten models on the model aggregation platform this week are from Chinese companies, with DeepSeek V4 Flash 0423 taking the No. 1 spot at 6.92 trillion tokens. Xiaomi's MiMo-V2.5 and Tencent's Hy3 follow at Nos. 2 and 3, while DeepSeek V4 Flash 0731 lands in fourth.
DeepSeek alone holds three of the ten slots. Zhipu's GLM 5.2, MiniMax M3, and StepFun's Step 3.7 Flash also made the cut. The only US-based models on the list: OpenAI's GPT-5.6 Luna and Nvidia's Nemotron 3 Ultra.
