Chen Tianqiao's new AI project Apodex has released Apodex 1.0, a deep research agent system focused on verifiable automated research through asynchronous collaboration and an evidence graph. Unlike traditional question-answer LLMs, Apodex 1.0 is designed for long-horizon research, with built-in mechanisms for planning, tool invocation, hypothesis testing, and evidence synthesis. In Heavy Deployment Mode (Apodex-1.0-H), the system's task coordinator orchestrates up to 150 sub-agents to retrieve and verify information in parallel, pooling the results into a shared evidence pool. A global verifier audits every claim by reasoning over the evidence graph.
