Huawei 'genius boy' Li Bojie slammed for 'taking money and running' after DeepSeek rant

Huawei's first batch "genius boy" Li Bojie took to social media to blast DeepSeek's interview process. He claims he was accused of cheating during a coding test and terminated the interview on the spot.

That rant quickly backfired. Du Jun, co-founder of Web3 venture firm ABCDE, publicly accused Li Bojie of a "lack of contract spirit."

Du's accusation: Li Bojie and his co-founder Zhuang Siyuan founded Metagent in 2024, secured investment from ABCDE, then refused to share financial updates and business progress as agreed. They then went completely silent. Du says he can accept a failed project, but not fraud — taking money and ghosting investors.

Li Bojie left Huawei in 2023 to co-found Logenic AI, later renamed Pine AI. He has not responded to the allegations.
