DeepSeek Founder's Old Posts Reveal a Week Stranded Alone in Tibet

DeepSeek founder Liang Wenfeng's suspected early Weibo account, "Little Prince of Code" (程序小王子), has recently been dug up again by netizens.

The account documented a Tibet road trip in 2011. The blogger drove a small Fiat alone, venturing 200 to 400 kilometers into the no-man's land of Ali, and photographed Tibetan antelope, snow eagles, and highland lakes. After being trapped for a week, he walked out of the uninhabited area — but his car stayed behind on the plateau.

The existing clues match Liang Wenfeng's background closely. The account long followed Zhejiang University communities, programmatic trading, and quantitative investing. In old post comments, someone referred to the account holder as "Boss Liang" (梁总); another netizen asked whether he was "Liang Wenzai" (梁文仔), and the account owner replied, "You guessed right." Liang earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees at Zhejiang University and had already started exploring quantitative trading during his graduate studies.

This material was already compiled and reported back in February 2025, so this round is just old content making the rounds again.
