Chinese AI video startup Aishi raises $300M in record round

Chinese AI video startup Aishi Technology has just locked in a $300 million Series C — the largest single round ever raised by a video generation company in China. Led by CDH Investments, the round pulled in over 20 investors, including film and game companies like China Ruyi and 37 Interactive Entertainment, state-backed funds such as Yizhuang State Investment and Suzhou Venture Capital, and overseas players like OCBC Bank’s Lion X fund.

Aishi's products — the overseas version PixVerse and domestic app Paiwo AI — have amassed over 100 million total users, with more than 16 million monthly active users.
