AI server broker and data center software startup Hydra Host has raised $100 million in a new funding round, bringing its valuation to nearly $800 million. The round was led by Kindred Ventures, with participation from chip giant Nvidia, Cathie Wood's ARK Invest, early CoreWeave investor Magnetar, and existing backers Founders Fund and Flume Ventures.
Founded in 2021, Hydra Host originally served cryptocurrency miners. Today, the company sells automation software to data center operators, helping them rent out unused Nvidia AI server compute power, and runs a marketplace that matches GPU owners with renters. The company has 90 employees and operates on the belief that GPU compute itself isn't the core bottleneck—computing power is becoming a commodity.
So far, Hydra Host's technology has been deployed in 50 data centers globally, up from 30 in February 2025.
